If you are considering engaging or working with me but aren’t sure yet, we can talk over the phone, free of charge and free of obligation. Usually, having a twenty-minute chat is sufficient to ask questions, or to allay concerns or reservations you might have.
My rates are based on the norm in Switzerland. If you are facing severe financial constraint, please let me know so we can find a solution that works for both parties.
My rates
Exploratory 20 minute chat | Free of charge |
Full 60 minute session | CHF 150 |
Full 90 minute session | CHF 225 |
Billing for face-to-face sessions can occur after each session or at the end of each month. I accept debit and credit cards, but you can also pay in cash or through bank transfer. Paying through PayPal is also possible.
My rates for face-to-face, individual psychological counselling, couples counselling and distance counselling (also known as “skype counselling“) are the same: I charge per hour, not per person.
Insurance
Due to the wide variety of insurances and the specifics of each client it is not possible for me to advise you on reimbursement through your health insurance. Please engage with your agent or your insurance company to find out more about their policies.
Switzerland has very tight rules and regulations concerning the provision of mental health services, and only recognises as psychologists or psychotherapists those individuals that have completed a full Swiss education. Despite my own training and experience, I am not officially recognised as a therapist in Switzerland. This affects the reimbursement through (Swiss) insurance companies.
As mentioned here above: if financial concerns hinder you in finding counselling, please know that I work with a sliding scale. Prior to working together we can set a rate that works for both of us.
