Couples Intensives

Couples Intensives

Concentrated relational work for couples who need real movement — now

Concentrated couples work

Some things can’t wait for next week’s session. If the pattern is too entrenched, the rupture too raw, or the distance too wide to bridge one hour at a time — a couples intensive offers something different. Two full days of sustained, focused work to interrupt what keeps repeating, go beneath the surface, and find out what becomes possible when you stop waiting for change to arrive slowly.

When weekly sessions aren’t enough

Some couples arrive at a point where one hour a week — with days of unresolved tension in between — is no longer enough. The pattern is too entrenched, the rupture too raw, or the need for movement too urgent to let it unfold gradually.

A couples intensive is for that moment.

It isn’t a retreat, and it isn’t a quick fix. It’s two full days of focused, sustained relational work — enough time to go beneath the surface, interrupt what keeps repeating, and find out what becomes possible when you stop avoiding it.

What the work looks like

The intensive takes place over two consecutive days — often a Friday and Saturday, though other combinations are possible. Each day is structured around two to three extended sessions, with longer breaks to allow space for rest and integration.

The first day is about entering the pattern you’re caught in — slowing it down, naming what’s actually happening between you, and beginning to interrupt it. The second builds on what emerged, and closes with integration and a clear sense of what comes next.

The work is active and experiential, drawing on Relational Life Therapy. We don’t just talk about what happens between you — we work with it live. That means mapping how conflict, withdrawal, protection, or escalation show up, practising speaking and listening from a steadier place, and learning to repair — not just discuss.

Two formats

Coming to Nyon You come to me for two full days of work in Nyon. I’d suggest staying somewhere nearby — away from your usual environment, routines, and obligations. That separation matters. It creates the focus and containment the work requires.

I come to you If travelling isn’t possible, I come to your location. We work in a dedicated, neutral space — a separate room in a hotel or similar setting. This option works well for couples based elsewhere in Switzerland or abroad.

Accommodation and travel costs are separate from the intensive fee. A clear flat fee for the work itself is agreed in advance.

Who this is for

An intensive isn’t right for every couple at every moment. It tends to suit couples dealing with affair recovery or serious rupture, those locked in conflict cycles that weekly sessions haven’t shifted, and couples who want significant movement in a contained period of time — including international couples travelling into Switzerland specifically for this work.

Fit and readiness are always clarified beforehand, so the work is held responsibly and expectations are realistic.

If this feels like the right step

You don’t need to be certain. But if something in what you’ve read here resonates — reach out. We’ll talk through whether an intensive makes sense for where you are now.
