Counselling begins when something stops working in life. Maybe it’s a relationship that’s grown tense or distant. Maybe it’s a constant feeling of pressure or fatigue that won’t lift. Sometimes it’s harder to name — just a slow build-up of disconnection, doubt, or strain. This is where we start. With curiosity and honesty, and a willingness to figure out what needs to shift. With a steady look at the stories or situations that keep you stuck. As we go along, stories open up, clarity sets in, the weight eases, and choices start to emerge.
Individual Counselling: When something needs to shift
Life’s not a straight line, and it doesn’t always respond to willpower. For some, that shows up as burnout. Or grief. Or a sense that nothing is wrong exactly—yet nothing feels right either. Maybe you’re high-functioning, outwardly steady, but inwardly worn thin. Or you’re tired of repeating patterns you thought you’d outgrown.
You’re not a problem to solve. We work with how you see, respond, and relate—to yourself, to others, to what life throws your way. From there, something real can start to shift.
We won’t spend years circling your past, but we also won’t pretend the past doesn’t shape the present. The work is paced, direct, and grounded in truth—not just insight. It’s a space for clarity, not coddling. You’re not broken. You’re just ready for a deeper kind of change.

What the work involve
I won’t give you motivational mantras or clinical distance. My room isn’t a place where you get analysed from afar. We name what’s real for you, get clear on what matters, track where things are blocked—and, where needed, I’ll gently challenge you to create space for movement. That’s the ground we work from.
In our work together, you bring your life as it is—the chaos, the ache, the questions, the longing. I bring presence, psychological insight, and a capacity to hold complexity. We look closely. We speak honestly. And over time, something in you begins to reorganise.
“It was a really difficult session today, but I’m not coming to you to chat and have coffee… Thank you!”
I don’t offer a protocol or a fix. This work is relational. Human. We begin by building something real between us. That’s what makes the difference. You’re not a diagnosis to be solved. You’re a person to be met.
A good conversation can change a life. That’s not a slogan. I’ve seen it happen.
We’ll look at patterns—not to explain them away, but to interrupt them. You learn to stop outsourcing your clarity. You act from a place that’s grounded, not reactive. If you want to explore this further, this piece on befriending your feelings offers a glimpse into the kind of emotional honesty we work with.
If this resonates, let’s talk
Reaching out might feel strange. Maybe even uncomfortable. It might not be something you ever thought you’d do—speaking with a counsellor. But if something on this page feels true, if it reflects something you’ve been circling or carrying quietly, then now could be the time to begin.
